His majesties royal geographer, dedicated the map in devotion to the lord and master, highly praised in Christ, Mr. Lævinus Torrentius, bishop of Antwerp for the Ambivirate people.

The map shows the tribes, cities and countries of Western Europe (Gallia or Gaul) as described by Cæsar.
